On an early February week in one of my favorite places I have ever been to, I was blessed to meet so many wonderful birds. I am glad I had my good camera and zoom with me.
They are elegant, colorful and so diverse. Some are small and fast moving, other large and heavy and slow. I love to observe them soar over the ocean waters. They do all remind of my desire to soar higher with grace. To be a better person, to reach for the Heavens and to run physically and spiritually toward our forever home.
Genesis, 1:20 - Then God said: Let the water teem with an abundance of living creatures, and on the earth let birds fly beneath the dome of the sky.
Matthew 6: 25-27
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat [or drink], or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they?
Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span?..."
